JOHANNESBURG - With three nominations a piece, Celeste Ntuli, Robby Collins, Sifiso Nene, Dalin Oliver, and Vafa Naraghi lead the pack in the prestigious 11th Savanna Comics' Choice Comedy Awards.

The awards are a great way to honour the thriving South African comedy scene and celebrate an important turning point in the humour and entertainment industries.
This year's host of the awards presentation, Mpho Popps said, "Much like our country, our comedy infrastructure was a bit on the edge there for a while, so everyone's had to pull their weight to rebuild the framework of comedy. South Africa is similar in that each of us must contribute in some way to the advancement of our nation."

Lottering stands as an iconic figure in South African comedy, having significantly shaped its landscape with his sharp wit, unique storytelling ability, and an array of unforgettable characters that resonated with audiences nationwide.
This event, which will take place on 13 April at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City, promises to be full of awards, sketches, punchlines, and satire. A-list celebrities and past award winners will be among the star-studded lineup.
