There are yachts, and then there are MEGA yachts... this one is the latter; it oozes luxury, and some people call it 'home'.
Yes, some passengers are permanent residents, while others' stay is seasonal.
The yacht is the world's largest privately owned residential mega yacht and will be in Cape Town for a five-day visit from 28 February to 3 March before sailing to Mossel Bay and Durban as part of its 2024 journey to six continents.
Serving as a vessel and a vibrant residential community, it houses people from 40 countries.
Residents actively shape the itinerary, with destinations selected two years in advance to include diverse cultures and landscapes.
The World Mega Yacht is 196 meters long. It has 165 'homes' consisting of apartments and studio apartments.
It is at the V&A Waterfront, right now!
