‘There is no room for error to prepare for elections’ - IEC

The 2024 national elections will take place on 29 May this year.
In the meantime, the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) has plenty of work to do to prepare for what is sure to be an eventful election.

Masuku says there is always blood, sweat, and tears, to prepare for election day as there are plenty of deadlines to meet.

The first matter that the IEC needs to attend to is making the provisional voters' roll available for inspection.
People will then have the opportunity to object to voters on the provisional roll, and those objections must be processed by 11 March.
