JOHANNESBURG - ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa said should the party win the upcoming elections, it will focus on six priorities to help grow the country's economy.
Ramaphosa is addressing thousands of party supporters at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban as the ANC hosts its manifesto launch.
South Africans will take to the polls on the 29th of May for the general elections with different political parties detailing what they will do for the country should they win.
Ramaphosa said after this election the party will not be looking back on the achievements of the last 30 years, but ways to better the lives of citizens in the future.
"Our jobs plan, building our industry to include an inclusive economy. We will tackle the high cost of living, we will invest in our people, we will defend democracy," said Ramaphosa.
He added that the party is renewing its mandate to continue improving the quality of life in the country.
