Culinary Queen Zola Nene joins MasterChef SA

Things are heating up in the MasterChef South Africa kitchen.

The first judge to join this year’s panel has been unveiled, and it is none other than vivacious TV chef, award-winning cookbook author, and food stylist Zola Nene!

She is no stranger to the kitchen, having been part of the show’s previous season.

“For a food fanatic like me, it’s such a joy and honour to be part of a show that celebrates our unique South African cuisine whilst giving local foodies a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make their dreams come true.”

You may also remember her from ‘The Great South African Bake Off’ or even her own show ‘Celeb Feasts with Zola’.

She has also made her mark with three best-selling cookbooks – ‘Simply Delicious’, ‘Simply Zola’, and ‘Simply Seven Colours’.

Nene will be one of the three judges tasked with guiding and inspiring 20 home cooks in this year’s MasterChef kitchen.

“It’s beautiful to watch how the contestants grow and unleash their full potential.”

Contestants will be competing for the title of “MasterChef” and a tasty cash prize of R1 million.
