Four people die in separate car accidents in the Eastern Cape
Two people died when a sedan overturned on the N2 in Gqeberha on Sunday; while in another accident on the T12 in Maluti a vehicle overturned, resulting in the loss of another two lives.

CAPE TOWN - Four people died in two separate car accidents in the Eastern Cape on Sunday.
According to the provincial transport department, the driver of a car carrying two passengers lost control of his car and it overturned, leading to the death of two people.
The driver, who was injured was taken to hospital.
The department said the incident happened on the N2 in Gqeberha towards Humansdorp.
In another crash, a bakkie with seven occupants overturned on the T12 in Maluti, also killing two passengers. The vehicle was travelling from Matatiele.
The five injured were taken to hospital.
Departmental spokesperson, Unathi Binqose:
"The MEC for transport in the Eastern Cape Xolile Nqatha is extending his sincere word of condolences to the families of the deceased and is also calling on road users, motorists in particular to be extra vigilant at all times.
"Investigations in the cause of these accidents is underway, however, there were signs of alcohol having been used in one of the two accidents," Binqose added.
