WATCH: Breathtaking performance earns SA's Musa Motha another golden buzzer

South African dancer Musa Motha made history in 2023 on Britain’s Got Talent, when he received a special, combined golden buzzer after the judges had already used up their individual ones.

Now he's back in the world spotlight, earning a golden buzzer in the US on America's Got Talent.

Simon Cowell did the honours after Motha's breathtaking performance during the semi-finals of AGT: Fantasy League 2024.

The young talent switched his footballing dream to dancing after his leg had to be amputated at a young age.

Not even a minute into his AGT performance the crowd was on its feet, cheering.

Turning to the judges before pressing the golden buzzer, Cowell said "I will never forget the very first time I saw him... in the UK."

Then, turning to Motha before the golden moment:

"I don't think the final would be the same without you and I want to give you a little hand..."

Cowell then joined Motha on stage, where he'd been overcome with emotion.

"This is just a manifestation of everything I was dreaming about... it's happening right now"
