DURBAN - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) says its manifesto launch will mostly be attended by its KwaZulu-Natal supporters as no buses will be coming outside the province.
Thousands are set to gather at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban ahead of the event on Saturday.
The EFF said it would outline its plans for the 2024 national and provincial polls.
EFF leader Julius Malema this week visited various parts of the province, mobilising support for the launch.
With political parties already electioneering for the 2024 polls, the EFF will launch its manifesto for the elections on Saturday.
And despite the party’s poor performances when it comes to by-elections in the province, party leader, Malema, has previously said the EFF was seeing growing potential in the province, given its performance in previous general polls and the 2021 local polls.
"You’ll have to come to Moses Mabhida [Stadium] on Saturday and see history-making in KwaZulu-Natal because there won’t be buses from outside only buses from KwaZulu-Natal are going to go to the stadium."
On Friday, the party is set to conduct final preparations ahead of Saturday’s festivities, with its youth wing the student command set to hold a massive event on Friday evening.
