BOSA is 'by the people and for the people' - Maimane
Speaking in Cape Town on Wednesday ahead of SONA, Mmusi Maimane emphasised that BOSA is funded by ordinary South Africans and international donors, with no intentions to capture its mandate.

CAPE TOWN - Build One South Africa (BOSA) leader, Mmusi Maimane, said his party was not a fly-by-night that would be silent after the upcoming elections.
Maimane addressed a gathering of unemployed youth outside the Cape Town City Hall on Wednesday ahead of the State of the Nation Address (SONA).

The BOSA leader emphasised that the party was funded by ordinary South Africans and international donors, with no intentions to capture its mandate.
“Elections... the day they just become about money, you lose your soul. You are correct when you raise the state of capture.
"Already we are hearing allegations of parties receiving money from Russia to advance a particular narrative, other parties receiving money from Iran to advance a particular narrative. We are sitting and saying it’s by the people and for the people," Maimane said.
