Metrorail suspends service in Western Cape due to signalling, equipment failure

CAPE TOWN - It's expected to be a rough start to Wednesday morning's commute as Metrorail suspends it's service in the Western Cape.
The beleagured network confirmed that no trains will run until further notice due to various signalling issues and equipment failure.
Commuters have been advised to make use of alternative transport.
Signal equipment failure at Cape Town/Maitland/Woodstock and Woltemade affecting the region. Service temporally suspended until further notice. Commuters are advised to make use of alternative transport.#NorthernLineCT #SouthernLineCT #CapeFlatsLineCT #CentralLineCT
