Beyoncé teases new hair care line, sets launch date
The mogul last year took to her social media to hint that she has been working on something behind the scenes, the carousel of pictures suggesting that it could be a hair care line.
JOHANNESBURG - It's time to take care of your hair during this month of love, as Beyoncé launches a new hair care line called "CECRED."
Last year, the businesswoman hinted on social media that she has been working on a project behind the scenes. A set of images suggested the project would be a line of hair care products.
In her post she said: "How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?”
She goes on to speak about how Destiny’s Child got its start performing for clients in the salon, with the space introducing her to the entrepreneurial spirit and the power of hair and community.
"Having learned so much on my own hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating,” she said.
And on Wednesday she took to her Instagram to announced that the journey begins on 20 February.
Beyoncé debuted her own clothing brand, Ivy Park, in 2016. Every time the collection is launched, the pieces sell out, demonstrating how popular it is.
All things considered, Beyoncé is a formidable force in a variety of fields, including singing and fashion.
