It was a proud moment for the Carter parents at the annual Grammy Awards as their 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy made a surprise appearance.
The "Empire State of Mind" singer Jay-Z (54) received the second annual Dr. Dre Global Impact Award during the awards show to honor his impactful legacy — and brought Blue Ivy on stage to celebrate.
In his speech, the rapper said, "Thank you very much. I used to say it was a sippy cup for Blue, but Blue's grown up now she doesn't take sippy cups," he began. "And she has her own Grammys."
