JOHANNESBURG - The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) said it would not be intimidated into retracting its reports accusing National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) board chairperson Ernest Khosa of defrauding the entity through kickbacks from service providers.
In January, OUTA released a damning report and leaked audio recordings alleging that several companies contracted by NSFAS paid millions of rands in kickbacks to Khosa and the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande.

Khosa, who took a leave of absence in January to make way for the probe into the allegations against him, demanded that OUTA retract the report by Tuesday.
OUTA CEO Wayne Duvenage confirmed receiving the letter of demand, but said the civil rights organisation stood by its investigation.
