Alleged insurance killer Segomotsi Setshwantsho also accused of murdering her son

JOHANNESBURG - Eyewitness News has learned that alleged insurance killer Segomotsi Setshwantsho has been charged with the murder of her son and will appear in court on Thursday morning.
Setshwantsho, was denied bail last month in the Mmabatho Magistrates Court, where she is charged for the poisoning of her niece for a R3 million life insurance payout. She is also under investigation for the murders of more family members.

She has been under investigation for the murders of her son, Kutlo Setshwantsho, her husband, and her two daughters.
Last year, police made an application for their bodies to be exhumed, and this has resulted in Setshwantsho being officially charged for the murder of her son.
It’s understood the 49-year-old grandmother bought a Steers burger for her son while they were travelling from Cape Town where he was studying to Mothibistad in the Northern Cape where they live.
He died shortly afterwards.
