Cape Town is known for it's stunning natural beauty and flaura and fauna.
And it's this fascinating animal life that has intrigued wildlife filmmaker, game-ranger and self-proclaimed intrepid adventurer Josh Crickmay.
Crickmay embarked on a mission to learn more about the Mother City's wildlife, which he documents in a new series called City Beasts: Cape of Chaos, starting on 29 January.
The adventurer has one mission: to find proof that humans and animals can coexist in harmony.
In the series, Crickmay takes audiences with him as he traverses through Cape Town's hidden enclaves to find all the animals we know and love.
By using trap cameras, tracking devices and stakeouts, he makes some fascinating discoveries on how they adapt and cohabit with locals who encroach on their spaces.
Crickmay's adventures take him to the habitat of baboons, sharks, penguins, seals, otters and and a captivating glimpse into the shipwreck off the coast.
It's been described as funny, offbeat, engaging and chaotic.
The series kicks off on DSTV Channel 180 DSTV and Openview Channel 115 on 29 January.
