Tembisa CPF says residents have flagged rampant crime with police, but no action taken

JOHANNESBURG - The Tembisa Community Policing Forum (CPF) says residents have complained about officers who fail to deal with crime in the community, which ends up going unreported.
Six suspected criminals were killed allegedly by residents who are fed up with crime.
The forum's Tumisang Rapudi has urged residents to report crime instead of taking the law into their own hands.
"Our now and then emphasis in the community is that whatever crime, report it, let it be written to book because now if someone is caught doing a crime, they can never be linked to all the others."
