When most of us hear the phrase “snakes on a plane” we picture the cheesy 2006 film with Samuel L. Jackson.

However, for the passengers on Flight FD3015 from Bangkok to Phuket, that phrase will remind them of a chaotic real-life experience.

Footage has been shared on social media of a real live snake being discovered on the plane, as the aircraft was preparing to land.

The snake was swept into a garbage bag by the cabin crew, and it is not clear how it ended up on the plane in the first place.

This is the second time a snake has been discovered on an AirAsia flight.
