Dricus Du Plessis has stunned the world by becoming South Africa's first UFC champion in a spectacular fight in Canada on Sunday morning.
The Pretoria-born mixed martial artist was declared the champion after going five rounds to win by a split decision in the middleweight division against the USA's Sean Strickland.
South Africans who woke up at 5am for the much-anticipated clash had to wait for over two hours before the fighters finally stepped into the ring.
And of course it didn't disappoint.
After being announced as champion, an esctatic Du Plessis shouted "Suid-Afrika! Nou weet hulle wat ons weet!"
Du Plessis, known as Stillknocks, proudly carried his South African flag on his shoulders before expressing his love for his home country.
On Twitter, South Africans went absolutely crazy, a reminder of the gees for the Springboks during the Rugby World Cup.
Here's some of the best reactions.
