'Pap for dessert? It can't be': X reacts to UKs Morgan Gibbs-White' favourite sweet treat

In a side-splitting TikTok storm, UK footballer Morgan Gibbs-White, who is in a relationship with one of our own, was quizzed on his South African knowledge.

In the virlal SuperSport video, he shares that his Afrikaans lessons with his girlfriend took a unique turn, leaving him with a vocabulary limited to "bad words that I can't repeat on here".

But, it was his 'incredible dessert' revelation that sent shock waves through the interwebs – he prefers to end off his meal with some mielie meal aka pap.

Users questioned the sanity of it all, with exclamations like "Pap as dessert? Can't be" and "Not him having pap as dessert, damn."

Amidst the hilarity, some saw a golden opportunity to recruit Gibb's for Bafana Bafana.

@MsPanda_70 pleased, "Can you please marry her so you play for Bafana Bafana?" 

Meanwhile, @JDL joined the chorus with "Dude, we need you for Bafana."

Who knew a love for pap could spark international football recruitment efforts?
