JOHANNESBURG - Coachella 2024 is back with a bang!
This April, the yearly music and arts festival, will feature South African singer-songwriter Tyla Laura Seethal.
The line-up for the event was made public on Wednesday.
Tyla, Doja Cat, the Creator, and Lana Del Rey will be the main attractions at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. It is anticipated that the festival will occur over two weekends, on April 12–14 and 19–21.
Tyla, who is only 21 years old, has been a global sensation in the last year.
She recently attended the Grammy Awards, where she was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category. She has since taken things even further, officially becoming RIAA Platinum with her worldwide hit song Water.
On Saturday, Tyler will be part of a line-up including Blur, Ice Spice, Sublime, Bleachers, Grimes, Jon Batiste, Orbital, Kevin Abstract, the Blessed Madonna, Oneohtrix Point Never, Bar Italia, Erika de Casier and Militarie Gun among others.
In the previous two years, Frank Ocean and Kanye West had last-minute cancellations.
West was replaced by the Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia, while Ocean cancelled his second-weekend set due to an alleged ankle injury.
