Michael Jackson biopic set for 2025
The King of Pop will be played by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s story is coming to the big screen next year.
Lionsgate has revealed that its upcoming biopic ‘Michael’ is set to hit theatres on 18 April 2025.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson will play the King of Pop in the film about the singer’s life.

The film will be produced by ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’s Graham King, and John Branca and John McClain who was behind ‘Gladiator’ and ‘The Aviator’.
The official film synopsis says it will bring audiences a “riveting and honest portrayal’ of Jackson.
“The film presents his triumphs and tragedies on an epic, cinematic scale — from his human side and personal struggles to his undeniable creative genius, exemplified by his most iconic performances.”
The film is set to begin production on 22 January, Variety reports.
