JOHANNESBURG – Seven people have been killed in a crash on the N2 Highway in Durban.
Paramedics are on the scene on Tuesday morning.

Emergency service’s Robert McKenzie said: “Reports on the scene indicate that one light motor vehicle was involved in the crash. The police have already started their high-level investigation into this crash.”
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula said the light vehicle was heavily overloaded.
The minister's spokesperson Ayanda Allie-Paine said: “What we know for sure is that this light motor vehicle was heavily overloaded. It’s a five-seater but it was carrying eight passengers at the time of the crash. Seven of the occupants, unfortunately, died on the scene and one person sustained serious injuries.”
