University of Fort Hare suspends lectures, sends students home
Students have been told to leave the campus, vacate their rooms and return home.
CAPE TOWN - The University of Fort Hare, In the Eastern Cape, has on Thursday suspended its academic programme indefinitely.
Students have also been told to leave the campus, vacate their rooms and return home.
This decision comes after weeks of violence and intimidation.
All students must vacate by 6 pm on Thursday.
