JOHANNESBURG – Three, two, one and action! MicInGrace Studios, a Hollywood production company has announced that they are opening a studio in the northern suburb of Bryanston in Johannesburg.

The film production company promises to bring Hollywood-styled action movies with a South African feel.

“It’s time for South Africa to see a different narrative other than robbery and hijackings that stereotype black Africans as criminals,” co-founder and film director Michael ‘Micl Snr’ Norman said.

Norman said that the company wanted to bring a more creative concept and high-quality productions to local films.

MicInGrace Studios was established by two South Africans, Michael and businesswoman Grace Norman. The company is black-owned.
