Pretoria drug bust -Cops seize drugs worth almost R5 million
Limpopo police have arrested three suspects following the discovery of a drug lab in Pretoria, equipment and drugs were seized.
JOHANNESBURG – Police in Limpopo have arrested three suspects in connection with the seizure drugs worth an estimated R5 million.
Authorities in the province conducted an operation which led to discovery of a drug lab in Pretoria.
They found several substances including equipment for the manufacturing and packaging indoor dagga.
Spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo said, “One suspect was arrested in Tzaneen, and another two in Pretoria. The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has hailed all members of the Saps, who were involved in this operation and also thanked community members for continuously providing valuable inform to the police.”
The suspects are expected to face charges of dealing in and possession of drugs.
