Absa services back online after frustrated customers' complaints

Many said they've not been able to make transactions because Absa’s digital banking platform, ATM's and card channels have not been functioning.

JOHANNESBURG - Absa says all its systems are now back online.

The bank has come under fire on social media with customers complaining they were unable to transact for much of the day.

Absa now says its app and online banking are back up and running while cash withdrawals and branches are also fully operational.

The bank has apologised for the inconvenience.

Earlier, the bank has issued an apology on Twitter saying its technicians are attending to the problem.
