Mabuza: Govt committed to turning North West around
Mabuza has promised that remedial action will be taken once the final report of the inter-ministerial task team has been presented to Cabinet.
CAPE TOWN – Deputy president David Mabuza says government is committed to turning the situation around in the North West through its intervention there.
Answering questions in the National Assembly on Tuesday, Mabuza said Cabinet would continue to receive fortnightly report backs on the progress made since the province was placed under administration.
He says security cluster ministers are also conducting investigations into alleged maladministration and corruption.
Mabuza has promised that remedial action will be taken once the final report of the inter-ministerial task team has been presented to Cabinet.
“But we’re not just going to go there and see this problem, observe them, note them. These problems are there to be resolved for the sake of our people.”
