ANC urges young people to register for 2019 elections

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has urged South Africans, especially young people, to use this weekend to register for the 2019 national elections.

The IEC has embarked on its first big registration drive across the country.

The ANC has deployed its leaders, including former president Jacob Zuma, to various communities.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will spend the day in Soweto.

The ANC’s Head of Elections Fikile Mbalula said: “The national officials, led by the president and the entire ANC NEC, will be deployed in all provinces. But Ramaphosa will be in Gauteng on both days.”
