NEW YORK - Voting for the Oscars closes as members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have to submit their ballots for the various awards that will be handed out.

The Oscars take place this Sunday and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Ballots have to be submitted by today, but Oscar predictions by armchair pundits and critics alike will continue right up until Sunday’s ceremony.

Monday marked the anniversary of the snafu when Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty announced the incorrect Best Picture winner.

The employees of auditing firm PwC responsible for the mistake won’t be returning this year, but senior partners of the firm will attend on Sunday and be present during rehearsals.
