JOHANNESBURG - Polokwane City defender Mogau Tshehla died in a car accident on Sunday.
The club confirmed the sad news on their Twitter page, with various other clubs sending their respective condolences over the social media platform.
In an official statement released on Tuesday, the club says a police investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances around the accident.
The defender arrived at Polokwane City in the January transfer window from Witbank Spurs, appearing 10 times this season in all competitions.
Tshehla was part of the squad that lost 3-2 to Ubuntu Cape Town in the Nedbank Cup last week.
