CAPE TOWN - There is still no word about when the movie Inxeba will show at some Eastern Cape cinemas.

Nu Metro says it had to remove the controversial movie to protect its customers and staff after a small group of people threatened to disrupt and intimidate moviegoers if they screen it.

Nu Metro's Nitesh Matai said: “We chose to remove the movie from our screens on Friday morning following threats of intimidation and violence against our staff and our patrons and threats of destruction of property in the cinema complex itself.”
