[LISTEN] Mathews Phosa: The ANC is on its knees

| ANC veteran and former treasurer-general Mathews Phosa says he doesn't believe the ANC will win the 2019 elections, adding that the new party president has inherited some 'tough personalities'.

JOHANNESBURG - ANC veteran and former treasurer-general Mathews Phosa has walked a long road with both the new party president Cyril Ramaphosa and deputy president David 'DD' Mabuza.

He was at university with Ramaphosa and personally recruited Mabuza into the ANC as a young activist.

In the audio above, Phosa shares his views about what kind of leaders they will be, issues a warning about Mabuza and says he doesn't believe the ANC will win the 2019 elections.
