[LISTEN] ANC resolves to expropriate land without compensation
Enoch Godongwana says government has been pathetically slow with regards to land expropriation.
JOHANNESBURG - Chair of the ANC Economic Transformation Committee Enoch Godongwana says the ANC has resolved that land must be expropriated without compensation.
Godongwana speaks to Talk Radio 702's Karima Brown shortly after reporting on the ANC's Economic Transformation Commission at the party's 54th national conference at Nasrec on Wednesday evening.
"First and foremost, we must appreciate that there is land hunger in South Africa... The pace at which government has been moving in delivering this thing has been pathetically slow," Godongwana says.
