This delay in announcing the election results of the #ANC54 leadership is not good as it leads to unnecessary speculation & rumours.

The truth is: If Cyril crew wins, economy strengths and capital gains and makes more money. State raises more money into the fiscus. More money for RDP houses and grants. That’s it. It ends there. No black ownership of the means of production. No land. It ends there. #ANC54

When the results were finally announced, people reacted with jubilation, disappointment and some humour:
Arise Cyril and take the baton and serve us far better than we have been served. May the ANC grow stronger and more principled. #ANC54

Divided down the middle - Ramaphosa, Mantashe and Mashatile on one end and Mabuza, Magashule and Duarte on the other. This is one of the worst case scenarios for the ANC for internal politics and how it configures itself moving outward #ANC54
