JOHANNESBURG - As African National Congress (ANC) delegates make their way into Nasrec, some on the ground say they hope their preferred candidate win but will accept whichever outcome.

While there have been delays in registering delegates, hundreds are being bussed in - ready to take part in the crucial gathering.

Dozens of busses are streaming in to drop off hundreds of delegates here who are all sporting their bright yellow ANC T-shirts.

While some remain tight-lipped about their preferred candidates, others are more vocal.

“We’re the voters, the branches have spoken. Zikalala is NDZ but branches of KZN is CR17.”

This delegate says he is looking forward to a change.

“I wish for a change in everything, governance and all.”

At the same time, a group of delegates have been singing songs declaring their support for Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma
