CAPE TOWN - The case against two men accused of raping and killing 10-year-old Chanel McCrawl in Manenberg has been postponed until 11 January.

Her body was discovered in October.

She was last seen leaving her home to go to school.

McCrawl's family sounded the alarm when she didn't return home from Edendale Primary School.

Family members started searching and came across her body on the Vygieskraal riverbank the following day.

One of the two men arrested shortly afterwards was the girl's uncle.

The accused allegedly sexually assaulted the girl and disposed of her body.

Both men remain in custody.
