JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service has issued a watch for severe thunderstorms in Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State.

More rain has also been forecast for Gauteng after nearly two weeks of downpours.

The SA Weather Service’s Dipuo Tawana says: “For Gauteng and the North West it’s mostly going to be in the afternoons. We're still going to have some storms and we’re going to have some storms also in Mpumalanga this morning. It’s going to be on and off.”
