Blitzbokke beat Kenya, in all victorious day one of Sevens Series

The SA team beat Kenya 26-7 after winning earlier clashes against Russia and France in Cape Town on Saturday.

JOHANNESBURG – The Blitzbokke beat Kenya in their final match on Day One HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Cape Town on Saturday.

They won 26-7, after leading 14-7 at half-time.

Earlier on Saturday the team beat France 31-5 and Russia 40-5 in Pool A, with Seabelo Senatla scoring his 200th try in the process.

In this afternoon’s Pool matches, the Blitzboks beat Russia 40-5 and France 31-5.

The win sets the bokke for a quarter-final match against Fiji on Sunday, just after noon.
