JOHANNESBURG - President Jacob Zuma has spoken about the need for an energy mix, saying without energy there will be very little economy.

The president was speaking during the energy indaba in Midrand earlier on Thursday.

Zuma says radical economic transformation is necessary for the sector.

“Without energy, there’s very little economy; energy is indeed a catalyst and with energy, you can grow your economy to become bigger than big. It is an advantage.”
