Raila Odinga: I’m ready for dialogue with Kenyatta
The opposition leader has always been open to dialogue and even called for this before elections, his advisor Salim Lone said.
JOHANNESBURG - Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga says he is ready for dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Odinga’s advisor Salim Lone, in a statement, said Odinga has always been open to dialogue and even called for this before elections.
Disagreements concerning lack of reforms and rigging saw Kenya’s election cycle dragged on from 8 August to 28 November, when Kenyatta was sworn-in after October’s repeat vote.
Raila’s swearing-in has been scheduled for 12 December.
Lone says the inauguration was in line with the law that it will be done to save Kenya from electoral injustices.
