JOHANNESBURG – Johannesburg Metro Police are monitoring a protest in Orange Farm.
About 100 protesters barricaded the Golden Highway and Link Road on with burning tyres and rocks on Monday morning.
The JMPD’s Wayne Minaar has urged motorists to drive with caution.
“More officers are being deployed to that area to monitor the protest and assist with traffic.”
It’s unclear what the demonstration is about.
