Mondli Gungubele, ANC MP and member of the portfolio committee on public enterprises, says that the executive is experiencing the consequences of the work of various oversight committees.
JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) Member of Parliament Mondli Gungubele and member of the portfolio committee on public enterprises says that the intensity with which parliamentarians are beginning to do their work is puzzling a number of leaders.
Gungubele was responding to reports that the Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown sent letters to the chairperson of the Eskom inquiry, which has been considered acts of intimidation.
To the utterance that ANC members are working hard in Parliament because of the upcoming conference, Gungubele says that this is not the case as political parties are in elective mode all the time.
Gungubele says South Africans should ask themselves if parliamentarians are doing their jobs and if they are, that is all that matters.
