JOHANNESBURG - Branden Grace and Charl Schwartzel are the best placed South Africans after the first round of action on day one of the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Sun City on Thursday.
Grace carded an opening round four under par 68, to sit tied for second place, one shot behind Austrian Bernd Wiesberger at the top of the table.
Schwartzel is on three under after 18 holes, while Louis Oosthuizen and Darren Fichardt are four shots of the pace on one under.
The second-round action from the Gary Player Country Club will get underway at 9am on Friday.
