Eben Etzebeth fit for Irish Test

JOHANNESBURG - Springbok captain Eben Etzebeth has been declared fit to play in the first Test of the end of year tour against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday.

Etzebeth had been an injury doubt after sustaining an ankle injury in a recent training camp in preparation for the end of year tour.

Speaking at a press conference after the team arrived in Dublin on Monday, Springbok coach Allister Coetzee confirmed that Etzebeth will lead the side against the Irish.

The Springboks also take on France, Italy and Wales in their final three Tests of the year.
