JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) presidential hopeful Lindiwe Sisulu says the party should remember that they are leading to serve the people of South Africa – not their personal interests.

Addressing the ANC rally in Vanderbijlpark on Saturday, Sisulu says the division within the ruling party is tearing the movement apart.

She says the party needs leaders who can bring certainty within the movement and the country to grow the economy.

Sisulu says South Africa needs leaders who are not captured and have interests of the people at heart.

“We need leaders who will guide the party and the country to a future of certainty that it’s people demand and deserve. Leaders capable of inspiring men and women of all ages and beliefs of this country by rebuilding and strengthening each of them. A realistic hope for their future and a future for themselves and their children.”
