Search for missing boy (10) enters sixth day in Melkbosstrand

CAPE TOWN - The search for a missing 10-year-old boy who's presumed to have drowned in Melkbosstrand in the Western Cape enters its sixth day on Saturday.

The boy, from Atlantis, got caught in a rip current while swimming last Sunday.

He was with his family at the time of the incident.

The National Sea Rescue Institute's (NSRI) Craig Lambinon said: “Despite the extensive search no sign of child has not been found, police divers they are continuing with the search each day.”

Meanwhile, the NSRI has urged beachgoers to be cautious during the full moon spring tide this weekend.
