PRETORIA - President Jacob Zuma is expected to visit the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria on Friday to monitor the delivery of healthcare services.

The visit forms part of Zuma’s Presidential Siyahlola Monitoring Programme which is aimed at improving public healthcare services in the country.

The Presidency’s Bongani Ngqulunga says that Zuma will go on a walk about at the hospital and interact with patients.

The facility was recently rated the best well managed hospital in the country by the office of Health Ombudsman Professor Malegapuru Makgoba.

The hospital offers specialised services to medically referred patients and caters to numerous countries in the South African Depression And Anxiety Group region.
