Tulbagh woman stabbed to death, burnt

CAPE TOWN - Police are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old woman in Tulbagh.

Officers responded to a complaint at the weekend and found the victim’s body dumped in Rossouw Street.

The woman had been stabbed and burnt.

No arrests have been made in connection with her death.

The police’s Frederick Van Wyk said: “Tulbagh police officers responded to a complaint at Rossouw Street. When they arrived, they found a 28-year-old victim lying on the ground. She sustained several stabs and burn wounds. The victim died at the scene due to the extent of her injuries.”
