Police: Vryheid murder not related to farm killings
The suspect dragged his victim's body to his car and sped off before crashing the vehicle on Monday morning.
JOHANNESBURG - Police have confirmed a 73-year-old KwaZulu-Natal man has been stabbed to death with a bush knife while building his chicken kraal.
His killer dragged the body to the victim's car and sped off before crashing the vehicle on Monday morning.
The suspect also died on the scene.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says this incident is not related to farm killings.
“The vehicle crashed into the electrical pole. The community saw and went to investigate. The victim died on scene while the suspect sustained injuries. He later died. The area is not a farm, it is just a rural area. He was not a farmer.”
