JOHANNESBURG - Police have confirmed they’ve re-arrested one of the six suspects who escaped from a Limpopo jail.

The six suspects managed to run away on Thursday night when prison warders went on strike at the Kutama Sinthumule Prison.

Police say they are following leads to track down five men who are still on the run.

The police's Motlafela Mojapelo said: “We have a team of dedicated members that are hard at work on the ground, looking for the remaining suspects. We believe that communities will assist us in terms of providing information that can lead to the re-arrest of the escaped prisoners.”
